Danish foundation gives important grant to Play the Game

26 May 2006

by Jens Sejer Andersen

The Danish "Nykredits fond" - a charitable foundation owned by the financial company Nykredit - has decided to grant 50,000 Danish kroner (almost 7,000 Euro) to Play the Game.

The amount is meant to strengthen preparations for Play the Game's 2007 conference and is given on no further conditions.

Play the Game has responded with gratitude over this encouraging support for the work ahead and for the acknowledgement the grant represents.

Nykredit is one of Denmark's leading financial groups with activities ranging from mortgage lending and banking to insurance and estate agency services. It is the second largest lender and the largest mortgage provider in Denmark as well as one of the largest private bond issuers in Europe.

It is yet to be decided when and where the 2007 conference takes place.
