About Odense

Odense is the third largest city in Denmark with around 200,000 inhabitants. It is located on the island of Funen right in the centre of Denmark.

Odense is the childhood home of the famous fairy tale writer Hans Christian Andersen, and throughout the year, a number of different events and activities are held in his name.

Odense is also a university city and home to the main campus of the University of Southern Denmark.
