How to get to Tampere

By plane

There are direct flights to Tampere-Pirkkala Airport with AirBaltic from Riga, Tallinn, Rhodes, Málaga and Palma de Mallorca. You can also fly to Helsinki Airport and take the train or bus to Tampere (see below).

Tampere-Pirkkala Airport is located 17 kilometres from the city centre. It’s easy to reach by public transport. The city bus number 103 operates between the airport and the city centre. You can also take a taxi from the railway station.
