The registration for Play the Game 2025 is now open!
Prices for conference participants
Full package (5-8 October 2025):
- Early bird until 30 June 2025: EUR 595
- From 1 July-31 August 2025: EUR 725
- After 1 September 2025: EUR 820
Day packages (5/6/7 or 8 October 2025):
- Early bird until 30 June 2025: EUR 175
- From 1 July-31 August 2025: EUR 210
- After 1 September 2025: EUR 250
The full package fee for delegates includes:
- Full participation in the conference programme
- Social and cultural events
- All conference materials
- 3 x lunch: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday
- 4 x dinner: Sunday (Welcome reception), Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (Farewell party)
Prices for accompanying persons
- Full package (5-8 October 2025): EUR 300
- Day packages (5/6/7 or 8 October 2025): EUR 100
The full package fee for accompanying persons includes social and cultural events, 4 x dinner: Sunday (Welcome reception), Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (Farewell party). It does not include lunches, coffee breaks or participation in the conference sessions.
Students
If you are a student (bachelor, master, or self-financed PhD) and want to attend Play the Game 2025, please contact head of Play the Game, Stanis Elsborg, at stanis@playthegame.org for details.
If you are a class or group of students, please also contact us. Students must provide written proof of their status from their institution, head of department, or employer.
Farewell dinner
There is no extra fee for the Farewell dinner on 8 October, but you must register for the dinner when you register for the conference.
Please note
Payment only in EUR by credit card.
The registration price for those submitting abstracts will be based on the date of submission.
Conference confirmation
When the registration and payment are settled, participants will receive a confirmation e-mail which serves as a receipt. This email contains a booking code securing the conference rate if booking at the Courtyard Marriott hotel. No further documents in this respect will be issued.
Cancellation policy
Cancellations must always be made in writing to maria@playthegame.org.
In case of cancellation before 5 September 2025, the full amount less the ticket fee will be refunded. The ticket fee is EUR 0,54 per participant + 4% of the total order amount plus VAT 25%.
Cancellations made after 5 September 2025 and "no shows" will be charged at full price.
Participants may transfer their registration to another person at any time. Requests must be made in writing and sent to maria@playthegame.org. There will be no fee for this service.
