12 detained in Spanish doping ring

Clinics, homes and pharmacies in four different Spanish cities were raided this week by Spain's Guardia Civil who found EPO and growth hormones. The raided locations were reportedly all linked to Walter Viru, former Kelme cycling team doctor. Viru is also former colleague of Eufemiano Fuentes, who was arrested during the doping scandal Operation Puerto.

According to Spanish news, 12 people were detained in relation to the raid.
