Governance seminar presentations now available for download

Presentations from the one-day seminar 'The Challenge for Europe in the Governance of Sport' have now been made available for download.

Under the title 'The Challenge for Europe in the Governance of Sport', leading experts on sports governance from five different EU-funded governance projects presented their findings yesterday at a seminar in Brussels.

The seminar was hosted by Play the Game/Danish Institute for Sports Studies and marked the conclusion of the project 'Action for Good Governance in International Sports Organisations (AGGIS)'.

It provided a platform to reveal the final findings of the project and to launch the 'Sports Governance Observer' -  a tool to measure transparency, democracy and accountability in international sports organisations.

At the seminar, four similar projects presented their contributions to better governance in sport and, along with representatives of the Olympic movement and the international federations, took part in the debate.

The four projects were presented by the European Olympic Committees (EOC), Supporters Direct, Sport & Recreation Alliance and the International Sport and Culture Association (ISCA).

The speakers at the seminar have kindly shared their presentations.
