Open letter to IOC President Thomas Bach from athlete organisations
As Play the Game 2019 comes to an end, a group of athlete organisations sends an open letter to IOC President Thomas Bach to bring attention to the important issue of human rights.

On September 20th, 2019, a group of independent athlete associations and athlete representatives from 6 countries in addition to 4 global sport organizations, came together for a second time at the annual AthletesCAN Forum to discuss international issues impacting our members. The open letter is the collective action resulting from those discussions.
Today, as many of us have come together again at Play the Game where 'Athlete power on the rise' is the theme of the conference, we are harnessing that platform to bring attention to the important issue of human rights.
