Play the Game 2019 on tour to USOPC training hub
After some intriguing days of debate, the Play the Game 2019 delegates went on tour to the Colorado Springs Olympic & Paralympic Training Center.
After an intense debate on the past and future of FIFA around 180 delegates gathered in front of the conference hotel where busses were waiting to take them to a place where sport in its physical sense still matters: the famous Colorado Springs Olympic & Paralympic Training Center.

Thanks to support from the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee, all conference delegates were offered a free VIP tour to the Colorado Springs Olympic & Paralympic Training Center, the central venue for elite athletes from nine Olympic and Paralympic sports.

The delegates were welcomed by Olympic and Paralympic athletes who also took time out of their training schedule to give the delegates a guided VIP tour around the facility.

Afterwards dinner was served while videos of former and current Olympic and Paralympic athletes were showed on screen.

After dinner Jay Coakley, UCCS, chaired a panel who shared their views and thoughts on the USOPC American Development Model.

Afterwards the delegates got the chance to try a variety of sport demonstrations at the premises, so Play the Game 2019 was about sport both in mind and body.
